Thube Gets Glasses!
Thube noticed that she couldn't see the board in class anymore, and she needed to sit at the front of the classroom. Sitting at the front of the classroom didn't help, and her mom explained that she is trying to save some money to get glasses. We noticed that her eye sight was becoming a really big problem, so we asked a local optometrist for some help. After we explained the situation, the optometrist decided to give Thube free glasses!

Our School Visit
We thought that it would be interesting for the kids to spend a day at our school. We talked to a few teachers that are active within the school's service learning program, and they helped us create an educational and enjoyable visit. First, we took a trip to the High School science lab, and conducted a science experiment. We then took a tour of the school. The teachers that helped us also gave the children some chocolate and other snacks. Overall, the children had a lot of fun!

Helping Hands Goes Online!
Because of Kaira's move to the United States and COVID-19 regulations, Helping Hands began to conduct classes through Zoom! Though it was hard to make sure every student has a reliable internet connection, there were a few students that joined us!
